I'm a tenant, not the owner. Can you still help?
Yes, for entry to a property you live in, with proof of residence. Changing locks in a rented property usually needs the landlord's agreement, and we'll tell you where that line sits.
How do I know you're legitimate?
Ask for the company name and the locksmith's name before they arrive. Every engineer is DBS Police-Checked and carries photo ID — ask to see it at the door. You'll get a written receipt with the business details on it. If anything about a locksmith feels wrong, don't let them start work.
Can I pay by card?
Yes — card, contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay or cash, on completion. Payment is taken after the work is finished, never upfront.
Do you do car keys?
No. Vehicle locks and car keys need a specialist auto locksmith, and we'd rather say so than waste your time.
Do you cut keys?
