Local 24/7 Locksmith is an independent, family-run locksmith business based in Birmingham. We are not a call centre, a franchise or a lead-generation website. When you ring us, you speak to the locksmith who will turn up at your door.

We have been trading for 5 years, building the business one job and one recommendation at a time — which is why honest pricing and doing the job properly matter so much to us.

How We Work

• The quote is the price. Whatever we agree on the phone, or from a WhatsApp photo, is what you pay. If something genuinely changes once we see the lock, you hear why before work starts — and you can still say no and pay nothing.
• No call-out fee, ever. You pay for the work and parts. Out-of-hours work adds £20–£30 to the labour, and you are told before we set off.
• We pick locks, we do not drill them. Non-destructive entry comes first. Over 95% of the lockouts we attend are opened without a mark on the door.
• Repair before replace. A failed uPVC gearbox costs from £99 plus parts; a new door costs £800–£2,500. We will tell you honestly which you need.
• Can’t fix it? You don’t pay. The risk is ours, not yours.

Who Comes to Your Door

Every engineer is DBS Police-Checked, fully insured and carries photo ID — ask to see it at the door. We fit British Standard components: BS3621 mortice locks and TS007 3-star anti-snap cylinders. Parts carry a 12-month guarantee and our workmanship is guaranteed for 90 days.

What We Don’t Do

We would rather tell you up front than waste your time. We do not work on vehicle locks or car keys — you need a specialist auto locksmith for that — and we do not offer key cutting as a standalone service, although new keys come with any lock or cylinder we fit.
